Hello to all Rebels Soccer Club members

National Sports Center:
As many of you know, the RSC has entered into a 10 year lease agreement with the National Sports Center. This gives us prime time fields on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Most of our teams have reserved space for training/practices. Our time allotment started November 11th and will continue through April. There are still times available. The cost per hour is $40. RSC Fees:
For those returning to the RSC you may have noticed an increase in fees. There are many reasons for this. First and foremost the RSC is healthy and in good position to make significant strides in what we are able to offer the soccer community. To date we are in need on much equipment including safe goals. We also have to consider the financial obligation of the lease agreement with the NSC. The RSC is continually supporting our coaches and provide for their training and educational needs regarding soccer.
All RSC Fees and registrations are due. You can conveniently pay online at http://www.rebelsoccer.net/registration_online/registration_online.asp . Team fees for tournaments, training and so on will be collected within the team.
Little Rebels Soccer Academy:
We have successfully finished the Fall LRSA. Thank you to all who participated. Once again we’ll be offering the Little Rebels a place to learn. Starting Feb 12th for 5 weeks at the NSC. Details will soon be on the website at: http://www.rebelsoccer.net/clinics_online/registration_online.asp
Keeper Training:
Also finishing up this past week was our first round of keeper training which was conducted by Justin Neal. For those that participated in the training it was a great bargain. The RSC nearly fully funded this activity only charging $10 for 3 sessions. Next sessions start March 5th. Again look to our website for registration information.
U9 U10 Training
Starting Thursday January 8th the RSC has set up U9 and U10 skills training. This is a 5 week course and is part of you summer registration fees. All U9/U10 boys and girls are invited to attend these sessions at the National Sports Center. Time is 6PM to 7PM. Coaches are encouraged to attend and participate. Trainers will be provided.
Team Training:
Many teams are scheduled for field time at the National Sports Center. If your team is not, contact your coach. Time is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Uniform Update:
The Adidas Toque uniform is being replaced. We received many complaints regarding snags. We talked with Adidas and they have agreed to put us into their new line arriving now through January. All players that purchased a Toque uniform (new in 08) and are still playing Rebels Soccer will receive replacement jerseys. Shorts will need to be purchased. Orders will be handled as a team. See your coach for details.
U9/U10’s will continue to use the Adidas Entrada.
